Arrow Reaction Time Challenge

Introduction

In this activity, you will test whether people respond faster when the arrow direction and the word agree. You will complete 20 trials. On each trial, choose the direction the arrow is pointing. Ignore the word. At the end, record your mean congruent time, mean incongruent time, and the difference.

NOTE: This activity measures reaction time, so results may be affected by vision, motor response, device type, and other accessibility factors. Your score is not graded for speed. If you cannot complete the task comfortably, use the alternate dataset provided by your instructor.
